Product Description

The Utah Office of Tourism has released its 2013 Utah Life Elevated® Official Scenic Calendar. Now in its 41st year, the annual award-winning publication highlights many of Utah's iconic destinations, outdoor activities, and events through its captivating photography and graphic design.

A colorful photograph of Thor's Hammer at Bryce Canyon National Park, taken by photographer Ed Riche, was selected as the cover image. Many other Utah destinations are featured in the nearly 80 images throughout the calendar, including all five national parks, national forests and recreation areas, many of Utah's state parks, ski resorts, metropolitan attractions, annual events, and various outdoor activities.

The Utah Scenic Calendar is recognized annually for design and photography by the National and World Calendar Awards competition hosted by the Calendar Marketing Association. The 2012 and 2011 editions were honored with 13 awards, including a Gold Award for Best Graphic Design.

Calendars are printed on the highest-quality, Forest Stewardship Council-certified, heavy premium gloss paper utilizing a high-definition hexachrome printing process and two-step varnish finish. This creates images of stunning clarity, brightness, and color that few printed pieces can match due to the expense of materials and production. Inset pages located behind the month views highlight additional Utah photography and points of interest.

Mailing envelopes, for calendars purchased to be mailed as gifts, are sold separately at checkout. (individual calendars shipped USPS are enclosed in a mailing envelope at no additional charge) Bulk orders of 50+ calendars are sold at a reduced price of $8 each.

  1. More scenic pictures than should fit in 12 months

Posted by Robert on 14th Jan 2013

We were pleased to see that in addition to the main picture for each month, several runner-up pictures were also included on the following page, along with a rough map showing where they were taken in the state. We'll be looking at this calendar for ideas for hiking excursions.

  2. Best Calendar Ever

Posted by Kaite on 11th Jan 2013

I received my calendar in the mail and opened it. My daughter was sitting by me and asked that when I was done with the pictures could she have them. They are beautiful!

  3. Awesome Pictures!

Posted by Kathy on 10th Jan 2013

Utah is on my list of places to explore and these photographs just make me want to go even more.

  4. A beatiful calendar!

  5. Utah Tourism Calendar

Posted by Delnda on 17th Dec 2012

I love seeing all my favorite places in Utah, each one shown at it's very best. I look forward to a new one each year. Never a disappointment

  6. Nice view of Utah

Posted by Ernest on 17th Dec 2012

Fine Photographie. Great views of one of the greatest parts of the American West. I really like it!

  7. Calender in wrong order (monthwise)!

Posted by M. Bartolacci on 17th Dec 2012

The photos were beautiful but the calender had an extra month for April, April calender was where August should be----etc. --really messed up. A new corrected one would be nice.

(*uotstore staff note: replacement calendar was sent FedEx overnight and isolated batch-run printing error has been remedied)

  8. Just like being there!

Excellent product, excellent quality, images are top notch!
We're from the UK - but Utah is our favourite - we got married in Cedar Breaks in 2005.
This year's calendar and all of the previous years remind us so much of the most wonderful US State we've found. From the places through the events and not forgeting the people - this calendar covers it all.
It certainly has the wow factor!

  9. Gorgeous and informative

Posted by Unknown on 12th Dec 2012

I order it every year because it is both gorgeous and informative.

  10. Great advertisement

Posted by Unknown on 11th Dec 2012
